This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 282 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Albany County, New York. This hunting lease is located in WMU(4B) and is about 10 miles south of Albany. This lease consists of a large working farm. There are about 200 acres of woods, 35 acres of pasture (pasture has several nice gates) and the rest are farm fields. Because of the feed associated with the cattle this property is a great turkey property. The deer hunting will be excellent as well. I saw 2 different large flocks of turkey with several mature gobblers in each flock. The landowner sees them daily in the pasture and on the feed piles. I jumped deer several times. I found 6 stands. If these stands are still on property you can use at own risk. The farmer just acquired farm and has notified the neighbors that the farm is going to be leased for hunting. Neighbors have been notified to remove stands and gear. There are nice established farm trails for ATV use around the property. I saw what looked like a nice food plot with an elevated blind overlooking it. The property also has scattered apple trees. There is a gate (not locked) on the gas line on east border. You have permission to keep the trails open. Lots of oak trees in the woods and many deer trails. Landowner would like property posted. Please contact landowner for information he wants on posters. He would also like to meet the hunters on his property. They are a really nice family and have not leased before. ATV use for hunting purposes is allowed. If you want to bring a camper, you can, get with landowner for options (He might be able to hook you up with electric and water). Loaded with turkey and deer!
